Our Program primarily helps with cases at the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, as well as with Discharge Upgrades.

Please note we do not currently have the ability to help with the following issues:

Federal Tort Claims Act cases (e.g., medical malpractice)
Domestic relations issues
Divorce/Custody issues
Landlord-tenant disputes
USERRA cases (e.g., reemployment rights)
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) cases

The Veterans Crisis Line connects Veterans in crisis and their families and friends with qualified, caring Department of Veterans Affairs responders through a confidential toll-free hotline.

VET2VET is a confidential connection which uses trained peer veterans ready to provide hope and help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition the peer counselor will help the soldier or veteran navigate the often complex VA system to access the mental health resources that are being sought.

Services Provided: 

VSCOA is a nonprofit organization formed to serve the rural disabled and homeless Veteran community. Their PAWS (Partnering Animals With Soldiers) Program is dedicated to helping both homeless veterans and homeless animals. Visit their website for more information. Services Provided: 

Dinner every other Friday or Saturday at 5:00 (call to confirm). Public hall/meeting room available. Seats 250. Special features: air conditioning, podium, p/a system, kitchen and bar facility. Catering available through Ladies Auxiliary. Alcoholic beverages must be purchased through VFW. Ample parking around building. Handicapped-accessible. To reserve call post home. Awards two scholarships each year for graduating seniors that are going to attend Chesapeake College. Supports many local organizations through the proceeds of the slot machines.
