The Veterans Crisis Line connects Veterans in crisis and their families and friends with qualified, caring Department of Veterans Affairs responders through a confidential toll-free hotline.

VET2VET is a confidential connection which uses trained peer veterans ready to provide hope and help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition the peer counselor will help the soldier or veteran navigate the often complex VA system to access the mental health resources that are being sought.

VSCOA is a nonprofit organization formed to serve the rural disabled and homeless Veteran community. Their PAWS (Partnering Animals With Soldiers) Program is dedicated to helping both homeless veterans and homeless animals. Visit their website for more information. Catering available through Ladies Auxiliary. Alcoholic beverages must be purchased through VFW. Ample parking around building. Handicapped-accessible. To reserve call post home. Awards two scholarships each year for graduating seniors that are going to attend Chesapeake College. Supports many local organizations through the proceeds of the slot machines.
