Comcast is offering two free months of free Internet Essentials service to new internet customers. You may qualify for Internet Essentials if you qualify for SNAP, Medicaid, SSI, and other services. After promotional pricing, the cost will be $9.95/month + tax. Comcast also offers free WiFi to people who are not current Comcast customers. A list of public WiFi locations can be found at www.xfinity.com/wifi.
My Family Needs is both a web-based service listing over 300 community organizations, and a referral service staffed by highly-trained library staff who are committed to linking families with local organizations.
