Compass Regional Hospice provides hospice care to people of all ages in Queen Anne’s, Kent and Caroline counties. Hospice care is provided wherever you call home, including private residences, nursing homes and assisted living facilities.The six-bed Hospice Center in Centreville is a home-like setting in which patients receive around-the-clock residential and general inpatient hospice care. The three-bed residential Hospice Home in Denton is owned by our fundraising partners, Caroline Hospice Foundation, and operated by Compass Regional Hospice. Compass Regional Hospice also recently opened a four-bed residential Hospice Center on the third floor of the former pediatric unit at the University of Maryland Medical Center at Chestertown.For patients diagnosed with a life-limiting illness who are not yet ready for hospice, the Bridges Program offers care and support for patients and their families. Additionally, the Compass Regional Hospice Hope & Healing Center offers hospice patients and their families, as well as community members, grief support through support groups, individual counseling, workshops and other programs that help adults, children and teens cope with grief following a loss of any kind.
