Fresh Start is a nonprofit transitional housing program for people recovering from substance-related addiction. Their goal is to provide, in the Mid-Shore area, a stable housing environment complemented by aggressive case management to assist the residents in achieving sobriety, independence, and self-sufficiency with enhanced possibilities for future success.

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We're committed to improving crisis services and advancing suicide prevention by empowering individuals, advancing professional best practices, and building awareness.

Perry Point VA Medical Center provides a broad range of inpatient, outpatient, and primary care services. As the largest inpatient facility in the VA Maryland Health Care System, the medical center provides inpatient medical, intermediate, and long-term care programs, including nursing home care, rehabilitation services, geriatric evaluation and management, respite care, chronic ventilator care, and hospice care. They also offer long- and short-term inpatient and outpatient mental health care.
