It is the duty of the tax office to receive and keep, and pay over according to the directions of law or the order of the County Commissioners the proceeds of all taxes levied in the county. The Tax Office also sells dog licenses, does MVA tag renewals for an additional $2, collects trailer taxes and room taxes for inns & hotels, among others.
