Service

The Lions Club sponsors a Vision Program that helps to pay for eye screening and glasses for needy people in Greensboro. Call or write for an application. Also sponsors a little league team, a soccer team, organizes the Little Miss Greensboro contest, sporting clay tournaments, an Easter egg hunt and games for families on the 4th of July at Bilbrough Park in Greensboro. The Club has two planned chicken barbecues every year, plus other events and they donate money to Lions Vision research and other charities. We are proud to serve the community by providing eye exams and glasses to those in need. We also provide a Ball Park which has a Softball field, Little League Field, Horse Shoe Pits and a Pavilion for the use of the community.

Must be sponsored by a member in order to join.

Hours of Operation

Meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 6:30 PM at Wheatley Hall on Sunset & Academy Streets in Greensboro.

Fees

Dues for members are $260 a year, which include local and national dues.
