Service

Buys eyeglasses for needy children. Sponsors little league team and provides holiday food baskets for needy families. Holds various fundraisers, including chicken BBQ’s and selling funnel cakes at community events. Supports national and international work of the Lions Club, such as the Lions Eye Bank and leader-dog training program. Meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM from Sept.-June at the Marydel Community Hall on Main St. in Marydel. Meeting room available for public use. Seats 100; chairs and long folding tables available. Kitchen facility available. Can be used for meetings, receptions, and banquets. Adequate parking in front of building and on street.
