Service

This 400-acre preserve is located on the Tuckahoe Creek and includes portions of the region’s most significant wetlands. Offers five miles of walks, education programs, art exhibits, lectures, special events, wedding rentals, workshops, garden tours, and native plant sales. Public amenities include a visitor’s center with gift shop, library, and meeting room. Many volunteer opportunities available. Nature preschool gives free tuition to families living in Caroline County through a community grant. Guided Nature Walks 1st Saturday of every month at 10:00am. Closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve through December 31.

Admission fees waived for all Caroline County residents, thanks to the generosity from the Caroline Foundation. Donations and memberships are greatly appreciated!
