The Caroline Office of Tourism produces and distributes the county’s Visitors Guide, a Cycling Guide, and the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Byway guide. The office maintains a Calendar of Events on its website, www.visitcaroline.org, and it operates a community page on Facebook. The office markets the county through targeted advertising campaigns, relationships with regional and national publications, and the motor coach industry to bring group tours to the county. The Director of Tourism serves as the project manager for two state byways: The Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad All American Road and Chesapeake Country Scenic Byway.The Tourism Office encourages small business development by promoting the county’s attractions, accommodations, and events in out of town markets. The Office also assists various county organizations and businesses in the creation of marketing materials, including logos, brochures and various advertising collateral.
