The Federalsburg Historical Society, Inc. is a non-profit community based organization dedicated to preserving and presenting to the public the history of the people, places, and events of the Town of Federalsburg on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Working in conjunction with the Caroline County Historical Society, Inc., we promote and celebrate our unique heritage through historical research, education, and events.Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of every other month at 7pm at the Federalsburg Area Heritage Museum 100 Covey and Williams Alley

Service

To collect and disseminate information about the history of Federalsburg. Personal artifacts of Federalsburg residents are on display in storefront windows in Federalsburg. There is youth outreach that includes a hobby fair. Organizes a yearly heritage day called Return to Historic Federalsburg. Volunteers accepted to do historical research on people, places, events, industry, etc. of Federalsburg. Meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7 PM at the Federalsburg Senior Center (Morris Ave. entrance). The museum is called the Federalsburg Area Heritage Museum.

Membership dues are $25 per household which includes a newsletter.
