The Greensboro Historical Society was founded on July 16, 2003 as the Greensboro Chapter of the Caroline County Historical Society, Inc. Our objective is to preserve and disseminate the history and heritage of the Greater Greensboro community and to provide support for the same to the Caroline County Historical Society, Inc.

The Chapter meets on the first Monday of every month at 7:00 pm (except on holidays) in the Greensboro Historical Society Museum located at 104 E. Sunset Avenue Greensboro, MD 21639. You are invited to come meet friends and neighbors at any of our meetings. Friday Nights at the Museum typically take place on the second Friday of every month at 6:30 PM with various presentations of historical interest.
