The mission of our non-profit organization is to transform the lives of youth, families, and communities through education, resource development, and community engagement. Club F.E.A.R. (Face Everything and Rise) is an adolescent club house for youth ages 12 – 17, impacted by, affected by, or diagnosed with Opioid Use Disorder and their families. The club’s focus is on providing substance abuse disorder education, self-care and social skills development, and family engagement. The Historic Federalsburg Elementary School was the original African American Elementary School in Federalsburg, MD., from 1918-1968. The Community Civic League was formed to reestablish the resolution of the building, to include early childhood education, and serve the youth and families in the community.   The Community Pantry is open the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 4:00PM – 6:00PM. Mid Shore Community Mediation Center is a 501-3(c) that serves Caroline, Dorchester, and Talbot Counties by providing free mediation and conflict resolution services for all types of situations and disputes by using highly trained, professional volunteer mediators. Residents of Talbot County can receive free assistance to mediate and facilitate parenting plan/custody agreements, roommate/neighbor relationships, parent-teen discussions, small claims cases, elder cases, and community issues. The Greensboro Connects initiative serves to connect multiple services with residents of Greensboro and those in the surrounding areas of Caroline County. Organizations, to include non-profits, are available to provide services to those that may not have the financial resources or transportation to access such services. Critical Repairs Caroline County, a local 501c3 nonprofit, provides essential home repairs or accessibility items to make it possible for low-income or very-low-income resident homeowners to remain safe and secure in their homes with a special focus on the disabled, veterans and families with children.
