To provide emergency fire, rescue and EMS services to the citizens of Caroline and surrounding counties as needed. There is a Junior Cadet program for teenagers ages 12-15. Cadet program starts at age 16. Youth volunteers are accepted at ages 16-18 for Junior Fire Fighter, and those 18 and older can become full members. You must apply to the fire department for admission for their free fire or EMS training, and a background check is required.
