Provide safe, affordable, and energy efficient homes for low-income families in Caroline County. Partner families work alongside volunteers and local contractors under Habitat construction supervision. Low-cost mortgages are provided in order to promote long term homeownership. Also, Habitat participates in the Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative (NRI)- which may include rehabilitation of vacant and foreclosed properties, house repairs and weatherization. Applications are being accepted for low-income homeowners. Habitat partners with other community organizations to provide services that enhance the overall quality of life in struggling neighborhoods.
